Currently, Lizzie Armanto is the only woman with her name in exclusive skateboarding tennis, but her intention was not to do skate tennis for women. Instead, I wanted to offer something totally different for a wider variety of skateboarders, whose needs were not being met. So when we made Lizzie's first exclusive skateboarding tennis shoes, we listened carefully to her ideas and also what she needed to evolve. The result is our most inclusive tennis so far. Lizzie wanted tennis shoes that represented her completely, from a narrower fit that would adapt to the shape of her foot, to a thinner outsole, to achieve a closer connection with her skateboard and greater flexibility.

he impact cushioning of typical skate tennis made Lizzie feel as if she were floating above her skateboard, so Vans created a new, more discreet template to eliminate the sensation. Lizzie tennis shoes are also made with a new vulcanized finish, a more discreet side trim, rounded and exposed outsole edges and flexible grooves for a more stable and comfortable feeling. In addition, the universal fit has the perfect EcoCush™ cushioning, which allows a greater number of skaters to increase the feeling of connection with their skateboard.

And to complete the design, a DURACAP™ tip and a 3D embossed Sidestripe offer greater durability to the areas of most wear, while the completely new sole with micro waffle design and Sick-Stick™ rubber offers maximum grip. Because Lizzie is also passionate about preserving our planet, her exclusive tennis shoes received the Vans VR3 Checkerboard Globe designation, which means that they follow the strict guidelines of footwear materials in all the main components used and that they have been designed and made to make their carbon footprint smaller compared to Vans canvas tennis shoes.

COMPLETELY REDESIGNED HIGH PARTS
The chrome-free suede offers more sustainable durability, while high organic textiles were used on the back side panel, tongue and lining material. In addition, a folding shooter was included on the heel that makes it easier to put on tennis shoes, with the presence of a brand of the collaboration with Lizzie hidden.

UNPARALLELED DURABILITY
A subtle DURACAP™ side 3D side strip under the back side panel and thicker DURACAP™ toes, for greater durability, can be seen along the instep.

IMPROVED IMPACT CUSHIONING
At Lizzie's request, a new, more discreet template was added, using our innovative EcoCush™ foam, a PU composed of 70% materials of biological origin, which offers a performance comparable to PopCush™ for skateboarding.

SECURE ADJUSTMENT
The new adjustment for greater performance was created based on the information provided by Lizzie. The universal fit increases the feeling of connection and control of a greater variety of skaters.

LEGENDARY GRIP
A completely new bottom plate with flexible grooves, waffle-design zonal studs, for greater durability and support, and the SickStick™ rubber have been combined with Lizzie's favorite design, micro waffle pattern, for a better grip.

UPDATED DESIGN OF PROTECTIVE BAND AND OUTER SOLE
The one-piece protective band provides flexibility, using SickStick™ rubber of high natural content for greater durability and grip. The slightly rounded bottom edge of the outsole is exposed to provide an immediate feeling of comfort.

VR3 CERTIFICATE
Made in part with organic cotton, natural rubber and biobased foam, the Lizzies also use suede from tanneries that belong to the Leather Working Group (LWG), and that have been certified gold or silver for environmental responsibility, throughout tennis.
